OUR MISSION IS TO ADVANCE THE WELLNESS OF ALL

When we looked at the cannabis space, we saw a lot of products for sale and very little concise information about what was good and safe. The industry looked like the Wild West—no barrier to entry for brands in a completely unregulated market.

Our idea was to build a website that people could trust. A smart place to learn about natural remedies and find the best CBD oil and tested gummies. We are here to help people navigate the ever-changing landscape of natural health with evidence-based articles that are easy to understand.

  • We cite medical journals
  • We avoid broad, reckless medical claims
  • We talk about hemp, CBD, our bodies, thinkers, and brands—as they matter to people
  • We believe in smart writing that
    • is simple
    • rewards curious people
    • and upholds the “better angels of our nature”

How we make money

  1. We place a unique ID on links that lead to brands. When you click a link and decide to make a purchase at a brand website, Remedy Review is paid a finders fee from that brand. Purchasing from our site does not cost you extra—it may save you money. We negotiate discounts on your behalf.
  2. We never accept payment from brands to be featured on our website. All of our reviews are independent and unbiased. When a brand can’t provide adequate third-party testing, we will test the brand’s product at a lab for them. We may share this cost of testing with the brand. You can read more about our testing process here.
  3. Anything on our site that is sponsored, such as a profile requested by a brand, is marked “Sponsored.” We will never sell a placement in an article, an instagram post, a tweet, or any placement that may look like an editorial endorsement.

Why we do this?

We believe natural products have the potential to help people. That is why we offer this service to readers. We are comfortable calling out popular brands. We also hope to generate press for lesser known brands who we think are making quality products. Overall, we believe that if we build an honest business we will find ways to support our staff.
